How It Works

E-mail Print PDF

1. Search for Carer in your Area by Clicking on Search button (button on left) or Location button to (button on right)

2. View the Carers' Profiles

3. If you find any you are interested in contacting/interviewing any of the Carers - Click on the "Contact Member" and subscribe to view their contact details for 30 days

Once you have contacted the member

Agree a rate and pay them directly. (A Guideline is £5 per hr for the first child plus 50p per hr per child thereafter). Your worker is under the Inland Revenue's Tax and N.I. threshold if they are earning under £95 per week and it's their first job.

If you employ a full time nanny you can expect to pay almost 30% more than the ageed hourly rate in holiday and sick pay, accountancy fees, Tax and N.I.C.

We Also Offer...

We also offer childcare in the child’s own home on an ad hoc basis (pay per hour) and with little notice required.  This may be  to give you a break/respite, to cover your usual childcare arrangements, or to allow you to work late.  Childcare can be provided in reasonable circumstances providing there is a child carer available in your area.  Mum's Help cover the carers insurance, tax and N.I.C. where applicable and invoice the parent on a monthly basis. There is a minimum requirement of 3 hours per call out.
