Mum’s Help forward details of our members to families and organisations who require Nannies, Childminders, Home Based Child Carers, Specialist Carers, Occasional/Emergency/School Holiday Care, Babysitters and Support Workers.
When registering your availability, you can choose flexible, full/part time hours to suit you on a temporary or permanent basis.
Experience in working with children is a minimum requirement. Childcare qualifications are not essential. A full driving licence is preferred, but not always essential.
Positions available:
Nanny
Work full time hours minding children in their own home.
Childminder (parents home)
Work flexible part time hours minding children in their own home.
Childminder (minders home)
Work full/part time hours minding children in your own home.
Specialist Carer
3-8hr shifts available minding children with special needs in their own home. Please specify your experience when completing your profile.
Occasional/Emergency Care
3-10hr shifts available minding children preferably in their own home. You must be available at short notice
School Holiday Care
Babysitters

Support workers
Flexible and temporary 3-12 hr shifts available in Day Nurseries and in selected SureStart venues. For this vacancy an NVQ level 2 is preferred but not always necessary. You are required to complete a police check through Mum’s Help. These are to be filled out and returned with payment details for £30 to Mum’s Help. CRB Service
